Healthy Body, Healthy Mind
A child’s wellbeing incorporates both physical and psychological aspects which are integral to self-confidence. Our educators promote learning experiences which encourage healthy lifestyles, including nutrition, personal hygiene, physical health and social relationships which contribute to a child’s concentration and participation in play and learning.
At Thrive we take pride in our outdoor spaces and encourage children to participate in organised outdoor sports which is managed by our Thrive team. Our educators focus on achieving the different physical milestones of each age group through a range of fun outdoor activities your child will love.
Munch and Move
Early childhood is the ideal time to instil in children the love of good eating and physical activity. At Thrive we implement the Munch and Move Program, a NSW health initiative that supports the healthy development of children from birth to 5 years by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and reduced small screen time.
Healthy, nutritious eating is an important foundation in every child’s development. Our balanced and delicious meal plans rotate regularly featuring a range of fresh vegetables and fruit to provide children variety and excitement around healthy eating. Our educators also use meal times as an opportunity to create meaningful learning experiences where language development can take place between educators and children.
