Our Learning for Life Curriculum uses play-based learning activities which are supported by the Early Years Learning Framework.
All Thrive Early Learning Centres provide extra-curricular programs, such as language lessons and sports via our partners at GrowFit. Our educators are highly qualified to provide quality education and care. Thrive Pyrmont is committed to provide a nurturing environment for your child.
We accommodate all families, we’re open from 7:30am – 6:30pm and our fees are all inclusive of meals, nappies and wipes.

This daycare is all about the kids and what they can do for them. Always thinking of new and different ways to enhance play and learning. My daughter loves going there. She has lots of fun! The educators are amazing. Feel happy knowing she is there in safe hands!

I admire this school commitment to holistic development and its emphasis on fostering creativity and critical thinking. Our daughter feels valued and supported. We couldn't be happier with Thrive! Our toddler absolutely loves coming here, and it's clear how much the staff genuinely care for our child. Thrive Pyrmont is a fantastic daycare. Great centre with excellent facilities(lots of activities and spacious outdoor space) and the most wonderful and caring educators! Brooke, Josie, Abby, Mayu and all the other educators here are so friendly and professional! We are very fortunate to have our daughter Alina grow up in this environment since we moved to Pyrmont last September. I am extremly pleased and would like to share and recommend Thrive Elc as a outstanding daycare centre for kids between 6m to 5yrs.Most edcators are stable, incredibly patient and loving towards the children. The centre embraces a diverse culture and offers a wide range of activities. Every kid is treated with respect and care. Thive also have its own onsite kitchen, ensuring that the food served is freshly prepared every day. My child loves and trust his educators.I also greatly admire the philosophy of the kindergarten's management. The centre maintains timely communication with parents about their child's progress and well-being. This open line of communication is reassuring and appreciated.

My son attended Thrive Daycare from 12 to 19 months and had an amazing experience. He loved his educators and friends, and learned a lot. Although he was in the nursery, he often interacted with older children during playtime, which I believe was greatly beneficial. The staff was prompt in communicating any issues and were all lovely. We would still be there if we hadn't moved, and I think he genuinely misses it. I highly recommend this daycare.

I m very grateful to have chosen this daycare for my son. Brooke, Josie and the educators are all very professional and friendly. Most of them have been working there for a long time. The staff always takes time to answer my questions about how was the day for my little one. You can see all the kids seem to enjoy their days and learn a lot in this centre. Couldn't recommend enough!!!

My 2-year old daughter loves Thrive and keeps on repeating names of her educators and her friends all the time. Staff are very kind, caring and friendly. It is very comforting to know that my child enjoys her new friends and educators. It took her a couple of months to get used to this new environment (we wend to daycare twice a week for 3 hours each day), but now it's a different story. She goes to daycare willingly and stays there for the day nap and I see how excited she is when she comes there in the morning or when I pick her up after work. I hugely appreciate all the patience and care of educators.

I couldn’t recommend Thrive Pyrmont more. We had not a great experience at another daycare and moved our son here after lots of local recommendations. The team are so lovely, caring and supportive and we are so happy with their care. Brooke and Josie run the daycare with such heart, have great communication with parents and you can see how much they really care. Abby has been an absolute godsend (I didn’t know carers like her existed!), along with Gio and Mayu who are all absolutely incredible carers/educators.

Both my boys attend Thrive Pyrmont. My toddler use to be shy, not really interact with others and would cry almost every drop off and pick up in previous day cares (3 to be exact). Since we have been at Thrive Pyrmont this little boy is talking, socialising, walking off on me during drop offs and does not want to leave when we pick him up. My son’s development speaks volumes on how he is taught, looked after and cared for by you guys.A wonderful environment with great activities/educational program. Highly recommended 🙌🏾

Our son loves going to Thrive. Whenever he gets home, he would always talk about his day at the centre; activities, experiments, his friends and teachers and also Deb's kitchen. He is always excited about "show and tell". Thrive Pyrmont has lovely educators, Josie, Abby, Gio and Mayu, to name a few. The centre has an amazing outdoor area too. We are happy every drop off, knowing that our son is in good hands.

The most wonderful and caring team at Thrive Pyrmont ELC. The moment you walk in, you can see that the children are happy. The inclusive environment is heart warming and learning/teaching style is child led. I don't think you could ask for a better ELC to take care and educate your child/children!

I highly recommend Thrive ELC Pyrmont. My daughter went to this service for 2 years and I can't thank them enough for the excellent service they offered. We moved here from overseas without any other family. At first, we're hesitant to send her and was really worried. I can't imagine how she settled well. She was really happy and always eager to come to school. She's also excited to share her learnings and experiences she did throughout the day in the service. She's now in kindergarten and misses all her teachers and friends at Thrive. Recently, we have enrolled our little boy in Thrive. But never feel worried at all as we already have a great experience with them. The service is consists of amazing team, equipped with knowledge and passion in working with children. Everyone that walks through the service is always welcomed and you can really feel an inclusiveness and sense of belonging within the environment.Thank you so much Thrive Pyrmont Team!

It's an amazing facility. At first, I was anxious as I'm a new mum and leaving my child out of my sight (my own anxiety). The first couple of times dropping my daughter off I was anxious from just leaving her with someone else but myself. I soon overcame my fear with the greatest service I received from the girls. They have an app that updates you throughout the day with your child's activity, from eating, to when your child has gone to the toilet to activities, right now to when they're sleeping. I now go to work feeling happy and content as I know she's in good hands. I definitely recommend thrive early learning Pyrmont as outstanding service and my second child will be going there too.RegardsAlana

I am so thankful for the Thrive Pyrmont Centre and the love and support they have shown both my children. Bare with me because this is going to be a long review :)One of my children is autistic and he goes to Thrive always so happy. They have been so accommodating to his individual needs while teaching them fundamental social skills, routine and learning skills. His educators took note of his interests so they could build on his curiosity and educate him through what he enjoys playing with. Unfortunately (and this is something lots of parents with a kiddie with special needs goes through) we had bad experiences at other centres but I just want to focus on the GOOD STUFF, and Thrive has plenty of it.The entire team at Thrive is such a wonderful group of people, led by Brooke and Josie; everyone is nurturing, kind, and has a passion for fostering confidence and a sense of belonging for every child who walks through the front door. It is really comforting to have our kids attend a daycare that focuses on love, and just allows them to be themselves.Highly recommended to anyone looking for an experienced daycare with staff that will take care of all your child’s needs as if they were their own.Thank you to all the Thrive Pyrmont team for being a safe, warm, fun and educational place for our children to go everyday, and for supporting our family in your amazing ways.

Excellent staff who are extremely caring and kind. Our kid transitioned to Thrive Pyrmont when she turned four and has been loving it here. She used to resist a lot every morning to go to her previous daycare however it has been the complete opposite with Thrive Pyrmont - she looks forward go to daycare now and spend time with her friends and teachers. The team at Thrive organises a lot of excursions and it really helps the kids explore and learn more. Kudos to the team and would happily recommend the centre to all parents.

We cannot speak highly enough about Thrive early learning in Pyrmont. Our daughter has been going to Thrive for just over 4 years and our son the last 18 months. Without doubt the genuinely caring, warm and dedicated educators and centre director make this a very comforting place to send your precious little ones. Our children love going to daycare and the educators have been a significant and positive influence on not just their development educationally but also their development as little human beings.

I highly recommend Brooke and her team at Thrive Childcare/pre-school. Our daughter Grace attended Thrive over the past few years up until her departure for Kindergarten this year. She has always been excited to share her experiences and things learnt from her educators.Coming from a separated family situation, Brooke especially and her team were inclusive, informative, supportive and kind with our daughters best interests always top priority.I recommend Thrive and Brooke to all parents with similar situations and further recommend ask questions, get involved and accept the support they give your child and you.

My daughter has been attending since she was 12 months old , she will be 3 in March , she adjusted really well and absolutely loves going to school each day. The staff/educators are very welcoming and professional. We especially like they have incorporated Cultural learning about our First Nations People. The centre is fantastic and it has a massive outdoor play area for the kids to play. Highly recommend!!!!

I took my first kid to thrive in Pyrmont at the age of 9 months and they treated him like he was their own and he absolutely thrived there. We sent our second kid to thrive in Pyrmont and he couldn't be happier. The level of love care and commitment demonstrated by the childcare staff couldn't be better.

Our son started at Thrive Pyrmont at the start of 2021 and we have seen his confidence grow throughout the year. He loves it there and talks about going even on days he is at home. Jackson loves his educators and playing with the other kids there. They have been especially good during this lockdown time which has been stressful for everyone. My partner and I are so greatful for the care and attention they show our son and all the kids at Thrive Pyrmont. My daughter attends Thrive Pyrmont and absolutely loves it. All the educators are wonderful! Every morning they welcome her with a big cuddle and bright smile. She waves goodbye runs inside and doesn't look back. Thrive has a gorgeous outdoor play area which is difficult to find when living in Pyrmont. They offer unique classes such as cooking and yoga. I would highly recommend thrive Pyrmont to anyone and everyone that's looking for care.

Great director Brooke who has shaped the operations of the place and has always been open, flexible, accomodating to the needs of the children and any concerns. The staff are great with some core original long standing key staff providing stability - Josie, Abby, Mayu etc. It isn’t about the flashy premises that you see in other daycares but the quality in the teachers, the content taught and the nurturing values which is what it should be- all about the children! Even Deb the chef goes out of her way to make the kids birthdays special with baked treats. Thanks to the team at Thrive for all the love and care for my daughter keep up the good work.

After she moved to Thrive Pyrmont, she can count 1-10 and sing A-Z by herself (only 2 years), only 1 week from start. She is very happy to go to school every morning. Her development demonstrate how good of Child care. Especially, staffs have an achievement for each kid as they are diff ages, diff personality, diff goals. I'm very impressive of their staffs. Thrive Pyrmont is excellent thanks mainly to their wonderful professional carers and director. My son adores the staff and keeps talking about them with such fondness even on weekends when he's playing with his friends. They are brilliant educators and have helped my son develop skills he will take on as he begins his schooling. The centre is also amazing hosting everything a child will need.The other children are wonderful and play a very important role in my son's development. Both my kids went to Thrive Pyrmont and I could not recommend this childcare centre enough. The staff is lovely and caring and they are very responsive when addressing any issues parents might have. The director is very attentive and supportive. It felt like a big family.

My son has been going to Thrive Pyrmont since he was 2.5 and sending him there has been one of the best decisions we have made. The educators there take excellent care of him and there is a very good mix of structured learning/activities and unstructured play - indoor or outdoor depending on the weather. Their chef Deb is amazing - our son was a moderately picky eater but a few months in, was always willing to try new food items. Across all the categories - food, learning, games, activities, social development, interactions with parents - there isn’t anything more I’d want from a day care than what Thrive is providing. This is definitely one of the best day cares in sydney and we couldn’t be happier.

We would happily and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking an early learning/day-care option for their child in or around Pyrmont.We have found Brooke and her entire team to have created a nurturing environment that is warm, caring, supportive and engaging. Our daughter has forged strong bonds with the educators at Thrive and she speaks very fondly of all of them when at home. There has been minimal staff turnover at the centre which is indicative of a positive working environment. The educators all seem to possess and display an abundance of warmth, care and understanding of the importance of their day-to-day work. They always appear happy and energised, whether it’s at morning drop-off or evening pick-up. The sincerity in their manner of engagement is always re-assuring for us to see. We feel confident and at ease knowing that our daughter is in such a positive, highly engaged and nurturing environment during her formative years.The well-considered balance of both structured and unstructured activities administered by the Thrive Pyrmont educators has assisted our daughter to develop in confidence, social skills, curiosity and independent thinking. While the day-to-day activities and program of learning have clearly been developed purposefully in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework, which has helped instil communication skills, physical and mental well-being as well as a sense of community in the children, they are also delivered in a supportive and fun manner. Our daughter often comes home and tells us about the activities she has been involved in and asks us to replicate them at home.Thrive Pyrmont has always been very responsive in their communications with us. The daily posts via the Thrive Kinderm8 mobile platform are a treat to view and allow us to keep informed about our daughter’s day-to-day activities. These are often shared with our daughter’s interstate grand-parents who thoroughly enjoy and look forward to the updates.Our daughter enjoys the tasty and nutritious meals that are prepared fresh by “Chef Deb” in Thrive Pyrmont’s in-house kitchen. If only we could engage Chef Deb to prepare meals for us on a daily basis!We consider Thrive Pyrmont to be a positive, purposeful, engaging and enjoyable environment for our daughter and are so grateful for the support they provide to our family. Our 3yo son has been attending Thrive for over a year now and absolutely loves it. The educators are always enthusiastic and caring. They help my son foster good relationships with the other children and he has significantly progressed in his development under their quality guidance. My son is always talking about the educators and wanting to go see them, so I have full trust in them for his care. The outdoor area is great and he loves caring for the garden. Gizmo the rabbit is also high up there as his favourite! Definitely highly recommend Thrive!

Both my children have attended Thrive Early Learning Pyrmont and have loved their time there. The staff are very nurturing and there is a personal touch that is unique. We have peace of mind that the children will be in safe hands and in a wonderful learning environment each time we drop them off. Highly recommended. The team here are so lovely - always showing kindness and coming up with engaging activities that facilitate learning and fun at the same time. I also really like the outdoor play area, which is a big bonus in the inner city.

Pyrmont Thrive Early Learning Centre is truly amazing daycare with an excellent director Brooke and her wonderful team of educators. My son Lucas has joined the centre when he was 1 year old. Now he is 2.5 and I can’t be happier to see how he really enjoys going there every day. And for me personally Pyrmont Thrive centre meets everything I could ever wished from the daycare.What I love the most:Individual approach to the child needs – My son was very unsettled at the beginning. Didn’t have any sleeping routine, just used to sleep in his pram during the day and never slept without me in the evening. So lovely Brooke and her team suggested to use the pram for his midday nap till he becomes comfortable. After few weeks he started to sleep in a cot without any problems. Now he sleeps with the other kids and the only thing he needs before he falls asleep is a cuddle :o) Also, he did’t walk when he joined the centre. So whole team paid an extra attention on it and encouraged him every day. I will never forget the day when I came to pick him up and he did few steps towards me.Educators – All ladies are so caring, loving, positive, reliable and professional. They have never ending energy, lovely smile on their face all the time and very positive attitude. Every day when we come to the centre we are welcomed with beautiful smile and open arms. And this was actually one of the most important thing at the beginning when my little one had to adapt to the new situation and get used to new people. The other thing I find very positive is that there is not high turnover of the educators. So my son see the same lovely familiar faces every day.Activities – All learning, sports and fun activities that ladies create and provide every day just really blow my mind. Thanks to them my son has learned so many new things, gain so many new skills and abilities and improved so much. They even helped me with toilet training. And as my first language is not English and we do not communicate in English at home I’m very impressed how my little one speaks. And my son absolutely loves “Growing fit programme” and all outdoor and group time activities.Healthy and tasty food – My son is generally good eater but I was a little worried if he would keep his appetite in the new environment. But he loves every single dish chef Deb cooks and always asks for more.Communication – The centre is using App for daily news and information. I find it very handy as I can easily see how my son is going and what he is doing during the day. And girls also upload lot of pics which always make my day.Surrounding – Centre itself has very spacious kids rooms with plenty of natural light. There is also extra sleeping room with cots for the babies which offer more privacy. I personally really like outdoor area with the garden, lovely playground and with both covered and uncovered area.And what I really love the most? The feeling that I know my son is in a good hands. And of course his happy face at the end of the day :o)Thank you so much Brooke and entire team! You are absolutely fantastic! I’m very glad we are part of Thrive Pyrmont family and I highly recommend your centre to everyone.

I'm so thankful that as a new parent my first experience of sending my daughter to day care was with Thrive Pyrmont. Brooke and the staff at Thrive Pyrmont have supported all aspects of my childs learning and growth, including her social and emotional development. She is now in the pre school room and has been learning so much, always happily coming home with lots of new words and things that she has learnt that day. They are always open to questions and feedback and I know that my daughter is well looked after there. I thank my lucky stars to have found Brooke and her team and highly recommend this childcare centre.

Great childcare centre with amazing staff! Our 2 yr old son has been attending now for a little over a year and absolutely loves it. The staff are so caring and friendly and he has made so many friends there. Such a safe and great learning environment for him & I would highly recommend Thrive Pyrmont to anyone.

We moved here a year ago from the United States and never thought we would find a preschool that came close to the one our kids went to in California. The stars were aligned when we found Thrive Early Learning Pyrmont!! Our son was super excited and couldn't wait to start because they had a class pet named Gizmo the rabbit and a huge outdoor play area like no other we've seen when we toured other local early learning centers in Pyrmont and Ultimo. We loved how we were instantly welcomed into the Thrive Pyrmont family from the moment my son started! He was only there 3 months before he started kindergarten but in those 3 short months he made friends, his teachers helped him adjust to his new life in a foreign country and with his transition to "Big School!" What sets Thrive apart from other preschools in the area were the 3 excursions the soon to be kindy kids went on to visit the kindergarten classrooms at Ultimo Public School. This helped make Brody's first day of kindergarten tear free as he was already familiar with his new school, his classroom and teacher! Our daughter took her brother's spot and started in the preschool classroom in Feb 2020 and has loved her new classroom community as much as her brother. The teachers are caring, nurturing and as Bronte calls them "my mommies when you're not there." She loves the different theme weeks and is always so excited to teach us what she is learning about. She loves all the fun learning labs/sensory centers that her teachers set up to enrich the learning going on and all the fun art projects related to the themes. We love the daily journals and pictures posted by her teachers about all the fun going on in the classroom. The amount of thought and detail the teachers put in writing the daily journals helps us continue the learning at home! We will definitely miss this communication when our daughter starts kindergarten in 2021 and I know Bronte will also miss Deb's yummy lunches as she is always telling me I need to cook like Deb!

Highly recommend to all parents out there, my son has been in Thrive Pyrmont for two years now and can not be happier! The teachers are very caring and professional, love the excursions and learning activities that they planned. Nutritious and yummy meals I never had to worry about my kid being hungry. The staff are very caring and attentive. They do al kinds of stimulating activities with the kids. Also we are always informed of how our daughter’s going throughout the day with photos and messages. She has a lot of fun and absorbs so much from the children and educators around her. Very happy.

Thrive has been a large part of my son’s development over the last year. The educators are loving and professional, they understand and engage with the kids as individuals and in groups. I’ve noticed the positive effect Abbey, Mayu, Josie, Carol and the team have had and Deb is a wonder at getting the kids to eat great food. My son loves all of the excursions and activities the Educators plan. I’m watching him grow up each day as he’s guided by the staff and has the opportunity to learn with the other kids. Brooke was amazing when we enrolled and her support over last year has been invaluable. Words cant express my gratitude to the team for everything they’ve done for us.

I feel safe to leave my daughter at this daycare! The environment is very clean, that is very important for me. They are so helpful and caring. They are always trying to satisfy my requirements and make my daughter comfortable and happy. My daughter loves all the educators - Brooke, Josie, Carol, Abbey, Mayu, Perl and Annie and the fantastic chef Deb with her yummy meals! Highly recommended!!!

My daughter has been attending CityWest/Thrive for the past 3 years. When Thrive took over all parents were worried because of the change over in staff however Thrive has since become an amazing centre to attend. Our daughter loves the centre, the educators and Gizmo. She often talks about everything they do on a daily basis and is always excited to return the following day. I can't thank management and staff of Thrive Pyrmont enough for everything they do. I can't forget Deb our daughter often asks us to make dinner exactly like Deb.

My daughter has been going to Thrive for a while now and she absolutely LOVES it!. The educators are really warm and friendly and honest about the child's day, they are happy to listen to our suggestion and action them. Their online portal is awesome and it helps us to track the everyday activity of the kids along with photos, meals served and other details. The staffs are really amazing when it comes to caring, teaching and engaging the kids on various activities planned for each day. We felt lots of positive difference in our kid in terms of interaction, speaking and thinking ever since she started attending Thrive day care. The lovely outdoor play area they have ensures the kids are not locked indoor all time rather they can breathe the fresh air and play outside a while. Could not ask for a better centre as they genuinely care. Highly recommend it.

Great day care. Staff is exceptionally attentive and caring and they try really hard to get to know the children and families. They are very open to feedback and they go out of their way to make sure your childrens' needs are met. Unlike some daycare in the area, they do their best to keep to the chidren's routine at home.They have renovated their playground recently in addition to having more programs and activities for the kids to learn. Throughout the day, they post updates and photos which helps add an extra level of comfort knowing how your children are coping. We have been going for more than 2 years and we would highly recommend it.

Great staff - very involved, engaged, caring and creative. Kids are being constantly stimulated and looked after by all of the lovely educators. Local management responsive to the feedback and requests from parents. Additionally this place has by far the largest and the best equipped outdoor area as compared to all other Pyrmont daycares. Highly recommended.

The staff are exceptional and genuinely care for and love our son. He loves going there. They listen to your instructions and are incredibly understanding in times of need. It's a welcoming space with the outdoor area recently being renovated and the kids love it. Deb's cooking is delicious, she does a better job than me! I'd highly recommend this centre to future parents and children.

Thrive Pyrmont is a great little early learning centre where they provide quality service and care to all children. The staff are amazing! Child Care at its absolute best - I can not speak more highly of City West Child Care Pyrmont, it is 5++ star. My 2 children went aged 11 months -school and were looked after with consistent care, kindness and skill for 8 years. They were engaged, encouraged and educated beyond all my expectations. City West celebrated so many occasions with the children, - they encapsulate everything wonderful about childhood. Facilities, toys/play equipment are spotless, it is extremely well organised and run, they have bright fun age rooms and a large central leafy outdoor play area and Debbies cooking is the best ! Also long hours 7.30am - 6.30pm enabled me to work a decent days work. Initially I was only able to get a couple of days, but I took these and other days and days that suited soon came up and City West was careful to keep an eye on what I wanted. If you can get a spot I would grab it with both hands ! Thank you City West for giving my children such a wonderful foundation in life - I could not have hoped for more for them and am forever grateful. 3 years later they still tell me they miss City West and want to go back !

This is an excellent long-day childcare centre. I have two children attending and cannot express enough how much they love their days here. The educators are highly experienced, generously loving and kind, and prepare comprehensive learn /play programmes that the kids thrive on.The communication from the educators and management is clear, concise and consistent. We always know what is going on at the centre.Some of the educators go above and beyond the in-class teaching. The older students have been given the opportunity to participate in the locally run Land Care group that keep the gardens throughout Pyrmont beautiful. They also have access to gardening activities in the outdoor play area along with keeping a worm farm to feed the local gardens.For new parents, this is a warm and welcoming place where you can feel comfortable that your child will be cared for deeply and that their growth and development will be nurtured daily.Thank you Citywest for looking after my babies (and us parents) so beautifully!
